We ordered three items. Got a notice that nothing would ship until all three were available. Had to request that item 1 be shipped separately. Item 2 finally shipped months after ordered, and item 3 was cancelled after months of waiting, due to unavailability of the product.
The product was not listed as backorder on the website when ordered. The emails saying is was no tin stock did not give an estimated time line. After 3 months I was ready to cancel the order when it got delivered. The box was partially crushed and the two of the four spinning vanes were bent. I was able to very carefully bend them out of the way back (it is very thin metal so I didn't want to snap it.)
They took our order but zero communication about order status or the item being out of stock. It should be listed on the ad page much less on the order and payment page. There is still no communication about when it will arrive. Very disappointing.

After several notices that it would be late, Stauer just stopped communicating.
The item came is very pretty. The only problem I had was the long wait for the item. I was kept informed about the item was coming. All in all I will probably order from you again.
This was my first experience with this company. The item I wanted must be popular because it took "forever" to arrive.
From the date of order, this product was in stock and "ready to ship". Except they did literally nothing for two weeks, in spite of multiple calls to customer service. I was never given a clear explanation though one representative referenced a fraud concern. What? My credit card was never alerted and it was successfully processed. After two more calls spanning 10 days, they told me they were shipping it. They sent the wrong tracking information (it was shipped by a different company than they told me in the link), I got the delivery. Mr. Thomas from Estes delivery was the one competent person in this entire process. Everyone else from Viva Terra and Stauer were not good at their jobs and the company is no longer worth doing business with.
Followed by a protracted disorganized process to obtain a return label and refund in a timely manner. Customer service highly defensive, regimented, and claimed they do not handle the returns, it's a different department, so had to wait 7-10 days for any action. Ridiculous.

I ordered the board very excited about using it for a gathering I was having. I received a notice that it had shipped. Wonderful! My credit card was charged. It never arrived so finally, after my gathering I received a notice that it was backordered until October sometime, maybe, and that the shipping notice had been in error. So they then credited my card. Very dissapointed.

Due to a system error, you were mistakenly sent a shipping confirmation before the item was actually available. Unfortunately, the board was backordered, and we didn’t catch the mistake until after the notice had already gone out. We understand how frustrating it must have been to receive a shipping confirmation and be charged, only to find out later that the item was backordered. That’s not the experience we strive to provide, and we sincerely apologize for the miscommunication.

Received this beautiful piece well packed but with a damaged nose. I contacted the company, sent pictures and within 3 days had a replacement. We hung this on a holly tree trunk as a focal point in our yard. Beautifully blends in with the foliage and makes me happy everytime I see it. Excellent customer service.
