Like sitejabber says, it doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!
They lure you in, promising you will make all this money and you can be promoted, but the reality is that once you earn the money, the bottom pay they offer out of any writing industry whatsoever, they start applying fees to get back as much money from you as they can.
There are some writers who say this company is okay, but they most likely see it as a better alternative to starving and cannot get work elsewhere.
I was with this company for a few months, and they kept at least 30% of my earnings because of fees they claimed had to be applied. They invent negative customer feedback, for example, and then hold your pay for three months or longer after that, hoping you'll be desperate enough to keep working so you do not starve.
If you can manage to get into a better company, which is literally any other company in the entire world, you're better off doing that than working for this group of crooks.
Honestly speaking, working with this company was a great help. Not only I earned big lumps, that I really needed during my PhD, but I was able to fine-tone my academic writing skills. They create a friendly platform for their writers.
However, they can work on the pricing and compensation because at the end good writers deserve good money.
I would love to work with this company again!
Answer: It is truly a scam company who sets out to steal all of the writers' money.
Answer: Absolutely not. The most dismal working experience I have ever had. If you have never worked before and you're not aware of when people are abusing you, then you might be happy working there even though they will take your earnings from you. You wind up making only a couple of ducats per hour, which is impossible to live on in any country.
Answer: It's not possible for a good chunk of the day. When you do, they are not very helpful. They simply refer you to another department and do not give you any useful help or answers.
