I purchased "white", "satin" porcelain tiles, as they were advertised. I assumed they were smooth. They sent "slightly beige", "matte" tiles that had a rough, grainy texture (not smooth). Nothing was said that they were rough texture; I wouldn't have purchased. The other two qualities were NOT as advertised. I was not able to use them. They did kindly accept a return, but I had to pay for the return shipping cost. If a product is not as advertised, that is the responsibility of the seller, and they should pay for return shipping, since they did not provide what was ordered and what was described/advertised.
Order a dresser for a Christmas g gift. They just opened the box because it was a Christmas present and wanted to put it together I was totally scammed! Only an heavy board. And yes, it's been more than 30 days, but this is not right!
I purchased items and had to even let wayfair know that they shipped and I received. I received the wrong items not even what I ordered. I have been over a week trying to return items with no luck. I have filed a claim with my credit card company to dispute charges. When you call you can't be transferred to anybody that can help yopu and they tell you resolution center will get back with you within 2-3 business days. This process has gone on for over a week. I will never purchase from this company again.
I wll never buy from this corrupt company ever again. They created 2 listings for the EXACT SAME couch I bought, with two different prices. So I happened to buy the more expensive one and then saw that there was a listing that was cheaper and when I contacted them to get a refund for the price difference they said they dont price match even on their own products even though they confirmed that it's the same couch. $80 difference. And their customer service made it clear that this company has no morals or ethics of any kind and are just trying to rip people off and get profit.
I would give ZERO stars if I could!
I purchased a sectional from Wayfair and 1 of the items listed as "open box". On the Wayfair page they state they "closely inspect all open box items for accuracy". When we opened the item, it was the wrong component AND was missing parts (bottom cushion). We contacted the customer service department, and they wanted us to take a discount (on the wrong piece) and I quote "just go get a cushion made". When I told them that this was not a satisfactory solution, they sold me another "open box" item. When it was received it was ALSO missing the cushion! So, we ordered again……AGAIN it was missing cushion. Instead of simply sending out the correct cushion. I was forced to order piece again at DOUBLE the price…to get the cushion needed! Each time they simply wrote the piece off! Now I have 2 pieces of furniture I have to dispose of! An additional note, I signed up as a business (these units were for my reception area). The customer service of the business representative they assigned to me was HORRIBLE! I will not be ordering ANYTHING from this company ever again!
I purchased a cultured marble vanity top from Wayfair that was made in Vietnam. When I uncrated the unit, 2 of 4 corners were chipped, and there was also a large crack. Wayfair was very good about replacing it. When I received the replacement top, there was a small, hardly noticeable crack by the sink cutout. The unit came with a backsplash. The replacement unit backsplash was broken into 3 pieces. I was fortunate enough that the 1st units backsplash was in good shape. The broken one wasn't cut clean on the bottom side so it wouldn't sit flat. One end of the broken one also wasn't cut square on the end. Between the two tops I was able to have a decent vanity top. I received 2 vanity tops and both were damaged. Beware if you purchase a cultured marble vanity top that is made in Vietnam.
Doesn't let you return the product for free. Can't believe it such a scam company, Don't ever buy from here. They never told us that in the first place
On February 11, I purchased a deck for my son, and he was so excited about it. We even bought additional items to complete his setup — a curved monitor, microphone, webcam, gaming PC, and a chair — all of which cost us a lot of money. We waited patiently, but after the estimated delivery date passed with no updates or movement on the order, I reached out to customer service. They told me they had emailed the warehouse three times, and on the fourth attempt, they replaced the order. This entire process took almost two months. At no point was I offered a refund until I asked to speak with a manager. I finally spoke with Cristina, who offered a refund — but only after two months had passed. When I asked what the issue was, she gave me a vague response, saying the supplier may not have the item available. So why is it still listed on the website for others to purchase? She had no answer. To me, this feels like a scammy way of doing business — taking customers' money for items that may not even be available, delaying endlessly, and refunding only after a long, frustrating process. I paid using a new credit reward plan, so not only did I lose time and energy, but also $300 in rewards — all for nothing. And the worst part is having to tell my son that he's not getting the deck he was so excited for. I wish I lived 40 years ago when online shopping didn't exist — you could just walk into a store, buy something, and take it home the same day. This experience was stressful, disappointing, and costly. I would strongly warn others against buying from Wayfair unless they want to deal with uncertainty, poor communication, and potentially lose out like I did.
They sold us a chandelier that broke in 3 months. Thus came straight from China and now I see other reviews about how bad the quality is. Customer service promised to refund our money but was dishonest and did not.
But from a reputable place not Wayfair.
Bought a modular corner sofa for my mother. Ordered Sep 20th, delivered Oct 3rd, but one module was missing legs and connectors. OK, so customer service set up a delivery of the missing parts. These spent several days knocking around in Germany before being "returned to sender". No idea why. Asked for them to be resent. Same again. So, asked for a replacement module, but instead the whole sofa (6 units) was reordered. Asked customer service to alert the couriers that Mum only needed the "hardware pack" not a whole new sofa. But this morning they would not fulfil this request and have returned the entire shebang. My mother is 90, and last month fell over and broke her leg, quite possibly losing consciousness because of all the stress this has caused. I have spent literally hours on the phone, emailing, texting etc. to no avail. No calls back when promised, no sensible answers to emails. So now it's time to refer to higher complaints body. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
Answer: Allison, Yes, the box that the floor lamp came in did have a picture of the lamp on it. I would ask when you order. I hope this helps. James.
Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
Answer: Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.
Answer: Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.
Answer: Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.
Answer: Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.
Answer: Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.
Answer: I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.
