I like University of the people's commitment to breaking down barriers to education. It offers tuition-free, accredited degrees online, making higher education accessible to individuals who might otherwise be unable to pursue it. The focus on flexibility, self-paced learning, and a global community creates a unique and inclusive educational environment. I'm in my final year of BSc Computer Science and it's been a great experience. The University allocated great responsive advisors as well as committed lecturers that are there to assist every step of the way.
University of the People offers an accessible and flexible learning experience with its online courses. The tuition-free model is a game-changer, providing quality education for diverse learners. However, limited program offerings and lack of traditional campus experience may be drawbacks for some
Enrolling at University of the People was a great choice for me. The flexible, self-paced format allows me to balance my studies with a hectic schedule. Accreditation by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission adds credibility to my degree pursuit. I value the collaborative learning environment and the affordability is unbeatable. However, I wish for more interactive faculty engagement. Despite this, I would recommend UoPeople to other potential students, especially those seeking an accredited and cost-effective education.
I got a free scholarship for UoP so I decided to give it a try.
The website with learning materials looks like a mess. New materials are hidden in guides so you may easily miss those files. Lots of useless tasks with little educational activities.
Written assignments can be assessed only when you asses your peers! What a nonsense, students have to check the assignments of other students! How do you learn anything then if you cannot get feedback from a real tutor?
You have to purchase their proctor service or you won't be allowed to sit exams! I believe they don't have any real tutors at all...
Finally, they asked me, the student with a $1000+ scholarship, to pay $10-20 for every exam as the scholarship obviously doesn't cover the full price:D
P.S. I didn't pay those scammers anything and decided to self-study for now
I am incredibly grateful for my experience at University of the People. The flexibility of their online programs allowed me to pursue higher education while balancing work and family commitments. The supportive faculty and diverse community made learning engaging and enriching. I highly recommend UoPeople to anyone seeking quality education that fits into their busy lifestyle.
As the pioneer of the online university in the world, The University of the People has made a name for itself in the global educational system as the first tuition free university who's major goal is to make sure the less privileged gets the proper education to move ahead in life. I'm one of this great institution's beneficiary for the past 2 years.
UOPeople is the first fully online university in the world; I and millions of others all over the world have been studying for a university degree on scholarship. UOPeople, Truthfully the best.

First and foremost, I must commend the university for its wide range of programs that are tailored to meet the demands of the current labor market. It is refreshing to see an educational institution that understands the importance of providing courses that are in high demand.
Moreover, I would like to express my appreciation for the scholarships offered by People's University. The fact that the university is committed to making education more accessible by providing financial assistance is truly commendable. University of the People offers a flexible online education with affordable tuition. Accredited and globally accessible, it's a solid choice for self-motivated learners seeking higher education.
This notorious organization has been spamming the whole Internet for a very long time. Plenty of fake accounts write fake ultra-positive reviews on any website/forum. Also, they pay for sponsored articles on well-known news websites such as Forbes, NYT etc. claiming it is a "tuition-free American university", while you must pay about $4500 and its US address is just a PO box, because they are in the Middle East. There are REAL American online universities that cost a bit more but have REAL professors and a REAL regional accreditation. UoPeople.edu runs a scam instead.
University of the People has a rating of 3.8 stars from 23 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally satisfied with their purchases. University of the People ranks 118th among Colleges And Universities sites.
