It is a scam. Unlockriver took my money and only after payment was sent, they said it would take 15-25 business days. I needed it sooner, so requested a refund and they refuse to pay my money back and are rude in communication.

Take my advice and just don't do business with them. They have a very ambiguous refund policy that they play out to rip you off. They claim they can unlock your phone in hours but I waited 10 days and got nothing. When I filed a dispute the bank unfortunately stood by their ridiculous refund policy. The scam is to make you wait until you decide to cancel and then they still keep your money even though they have done nothing! To file a claim in Small Claims Court would be successful but too time consuming. Of course they know that and if you did file I am sure they wouldn't show up. You win by default. They would have to explain exactly how they unlock these phones in court. They can't do that. They would also have to defend their refund policy against their own advertising. They won't do that either. If you have the time and get ripped off by them I strongly suggest taking them to court. You may be the one that finally puts them out of business. YouTube videos are more than likely made by them and not by satisfied customers. All of them are scripted the same. Attached is the real name of the company on my invoice. Unlock River is a DBA.

It's been 22 days after paying I haven't received unlock code till date. They keep postponing., really disappointing with the service n lost money as well

No conseguí desbloquear mi teléfono con el código que me proporcionaron. Sin embargo, no mintieron cuando dijeron que obtendrás un reembolso completo siempre que tengas evidencia de que realmente no está funcionando. Responden con amabilidad y rapidez. Me ayudaron durante todo el proceso y me ofrecieron un reembolso cuando las cosas no salieron bien. Sabrá lo bueno que es un proveedor de servicios cuando comiencen a ocurrir problemas y yo diría que lo manejaron muy bien. No dudes en probar. Investigando por qué no funcionaba el código encontré algo curioso en empresas como AT&T, mi teléfono es de ellos, no solo bloquean el dispositivo sino que le ponen uno o dos códigos más. Esto para evitar que los clientes vendan sus teléfonos, al no poder desbloquearlos, la persona se rinde y compra otro. Con esto me di cuenta de que unlockriver estaba en lo correcto y es una empresa seria y responsable, para mi antes de dar una mala reseña investigué, y encontré algo interesante

Applied to get phone unlocked on the 30/01/2020, payment was taken out of acc, but no confirmation or any sort of reply to this day. Emailed them a couple of days ago and still no contact from them. I'm so disappointed and just want my money refund.

After the first 14 days they said phone was unlocked and good to go, it wasnt. Then they said it would be another 10days. After those 10 days they said it was good to go, it wasnt. So after almost 1 month of wasting time with them they said sorry we cant unlock the phone. Absolutely the worst experience I have had. Dont waste your money with them. Horrible!

After mistakenly giving them the wrong IME the first time and couldn't get a refund back. I excepted and respected that. So, I try again giving the right IME # two weeks goes by and they finally tell me they can't unlock and that I'll have to wait 7 business days to receive a refund in which I feel like a refund should immediate! Anyways this is the worse experience ever! Not only that the time and the cost of dealing with is not worth it at all!

I have a galaxy note 9 from AT&T I got it on a BOGO deal so I wanted to get it unlocked now remind you the phone was not even 2 weeks old and I was trying to get it unlocked I have a lot of phone stores that can't unlock phone all of them said they could not do the galaxy Note 9 at this time so I figured know one could at this time but the company you are with so I looked at YouTube and look at that this video on how to unlock Galaxy Note 9 trust me I was very skeptical at this point because I'm like if none of my phone stores can unlock it what makes me think this sight can do it but man they did it it took 3 but it was worth every dollar I can say so if your thinking they are scammers well they are not they did mine wen no other store could so they get 5 stars from me and yes I am a real person so look at my picture and u can see now once again thanks unlockriver for unlocking my note 9

I was weary about using an online phone unlocking service opposed to just going to a local store to unlock my phone. These fears turned out true as I don't think this service is legitimate. I have paid for an unlock key for my phone purchased directly from samsung (used) so there shouldnt be any issues. It has been 5 days now and they still indicate it is "Processing". Dont waste your money on a high risk venture such as this and just drive to your local phone repair store and get it done immediately.
This is the best unlocking service so far if you have doubts please don't this service is amazing they are very professional
