Seems to track potential employees for employers/lack of info on taleo.net and their actual purpose.

taleo.net does not seem to have critical information available about the website or the organization that runs it. All info searches lead to the official site that requires log-in and password. It seems to track potential employees and gathers information that can be utilized by employers. Became aware of taleo.net as cop.taleo.net was the ONLY website listed under Allowed Sites when I was checking my Privacy settings on the internet.

Specifically: Tools/Internet Options/Privacy/Pop-up Blocker settings.

Is there any information about what this organization actually does? It might well provide information on jobs, but it seems to have other purposes as well.

Taleo's been around for well over a decade at this point, and it's pretty terrible. As a serious job seeker, the interface barely works. I was sent to the beginning of my job application after having the nerve to click "Next" in the middle of the application process, and, after having started over again, was notified of a system crash upon attempting to submit the job application after finishing... and then being told by the system that my profile no longer existed, and I'd have to create a new one.

Yeah. I tried again a day later and it finally worked, but if you're looking to frustrate your potential employees to the point of giving up before you ever contact them, Taleo's the web app for you!

If you ever fill out an application for healthcare employment and they utilize taleo for their application process, please avoid this IF you do not see, under 'account options' a blue link that allows you to inactivate profile. Otherwise, your personal info including your contact info and SOCIAL SECURITY number are at risk for hackers. I am glad that I utilized a fake social security number as I was taught never to give your social unless you have an offer! Please be wary of what info you give with taleo.net on healthcare employment sites.

If you see Taleo. Stop, don't waste your time, because it doesn't work for the job seeker or the hiring managers.
