I have 2 smart tv's with over the air antennas that deliver a perfect picture. I hooked up the 4th generation tablo device to both tv's and it doesn't work at all. Tried several times over a few days to contact their support to resolve this but never could get through and speak with someone. Probably spent as much as 3 hours on hold over these days trying to get through to them. Recorded voice says its 10-15 minutes wait time, but an hour goes by with no one picking up on the other end. I requested to return the device by email and get a refund, but they are not responding. Bad deal all around.

You get what you pay for

Yes, it's relatively inexpensive. BUT then add the inordinate amount of time needed to get the unit to work properly on multiple devices. And all this without useful technical support assistance. It finally became easier and far less frustrating to cut my losses and throw the Tablo away.

JetstreamHD is just the device I have been waiting for that allows you to view any media (movies, music, photos, etc) that you have stored on your hard drives at home to be view on your ipad anywhere you go. It connects to your router and then instantly finds the media. Instant access to your media without any upfront work is pretty much what we all want. I will admit I do not own this yet and it is still on pre order but the concept alone makes me give it a full heart and I will follow up with more details once I have this device at home. The main concern will be how you can find all of the media at home and how easy it is to search through it all.

I am a current tablo costomer with a tablo lite. I bought into the hype of purchasing a tablo 4th generation. Major mistake. Setup is not easy, moving from one tablo to another, as they are on different apps and dont recognize your existing account. But the main problem...the 4th generation will not read your saved stuff from your hard drive that was attached to the old tablo. That makes no sense! And tablo does not make that well known on their website. I have a ton of stuff still on my hard drive, so that makes the upgrade pretty useless to me. But the tablo company is MAKING me pay return shipping for something that they didnt make clear on their website. So if you have an existing tablo, dont bother buying a new one if you have things on your hard drive. And the company will not work with there customers on this issue. Wont be buying any new tablos in the future from this company

I bought two Tablo Bundles with 2 Tuners & 70 Hours (128 GB) of Storage With Antenna in November of 2022. They seemed to work OK even though setup was a little difficult with very poor user guides. Their online support is really bad, but through my own trial and error I was able to get things working. I'm using Deco X60 Mesh routers (3 of them). Over time, the Tablo devices have been getting quite flaky. Now, about 3 1/2 months old, one of them will lose connection with the router almost weekly and is then very hard to get reconnected. I have to reboot it, unplug it, unplug all my routers, repeat all this, perform "add by Wi-Fi" several times until finally the Tablo decides to connect. This takes a couple hours to get done.

When I call Tablo Support and wait on hold listening to lousy music for 10 to 30 minutes, all they tell me is that it's not their equipment's problem, it's mine and I should try connecting directly via Ethernet cable (can't do that which is why I'm using wireless), move the Tablo devices around, move the routers, just keep trying; nothing they can do, not their problem.

The other Tablo, sitting about 2 feet away from the one that drops Wi-Fi connection frequently, doesn't get the same TV stations as the other one, and those it does aren't always the same quality as the other. I've swapped the antenna locations and devices and have determined that the one antenna they sent me is defective, but they won't exchange it, either. Again, not their problem. Apparently, they don't think they ever have any defective equipment.

I think they have the philosophy that once they have your money, you are on your own.
