Spalding's website, delivery and instructions are incredibly easy to navigate and use. Their product dramatically reduced the flies at my farm with horses, goats and chickens. I highly recommend Spalding and their simple summer subscription for fly control.
Never did I expect to be outside with my animals and not see a single fly in the middle of summer but after using fly predators for a few months that's exactly what happened. Towards the end of summer I started to have a big issue with only horn flies, when I mentioned it to customer support I got a phone call right away with advice and suggestions. I'm happy and my cattle and horses are happy.
We've used Spalding fly predators for several years now as part of our fly management program. The fly population at my place is so much lower than that of friends' who do not have predators. Definitely worth the investment. I make sure one of my shipments goes along a shared property line with neighbors who are not livestock owners,. Good fences, good fly control, makes neighbors, right?

I had a couple horses and milked 12 goats for a few years. The milk process drew a lot of flies in the barn. Those big fly strips are so gross. A friend recommended fly predators to me. What a game changer. I got on a schedule and had predators delivered from April thru October here in Michigan and my barn was almost fly free. Of course manure management is crucial too but those little predators are amazing.
Used the fly predators for 2 or 3 years. Flies were minimal. I thought "Do they really work?". I skipped a year. Dramatic increase in flies! Believe me, I learned my lesson. Began using fly predators again 2 years ago and will continue as long as I maintain horses on the farm.
