The course was clearly structured and easy to understand. Highly recommended. I had a minor issue with printing out my card after completion but that was just a technical complication, promptly resolved by customer service.
This course is definitely quick and straight to the point. I felt that it needed a module on bandages, dressings, and eye care. This should be added. Be sure as well that this certificate is acceptable at your place of employment especially if you live in another country because though it is accepted world wide as they say, it is not accepted by every one.
Unlike other websites that I have visited, this one was not only user-friendly, but it was easy to understand and made it simple for me to get around the website, as well as having my questions answered quickly and simply.
The informational videos were really good. I like that they were broken up into small pieces. I also liked that you could retake the test if necessary. Overall great experience, it was quick and easy.
SimpleCPR is exactly that: simple. The process of purchasing, assigning, and completing courses through this website is about as convenient and uncomplicated as it can possibly get, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The course flexibility makes managing training for a group of individuals so easy; it's a perfect fit for employers.
I think simple cpr is an excellent resource for anyone who has already recieved training once before in person. I have taken CPR in class so I know what it feels like to actually give compressions on a dummy. So that's valuable.
Very good experience and coat effective
CAUTION: Their website claims that their training is accepted in all Canadian Provinces. Okay, by WHO?
Not by regulators in Ontario. See link: https://www.wsib.ca/en/providers-approved-deliver-emergency-and-standard-first-aid
Nor, by any other Ministries of Labour in Canada that govern first aid certification for the workplace.
Don't believe me... look it up in your own province. Buyer beware!
The course was quick, and easy. Although, I found some information in the section about choking outdated, which makes me wonder if my company will accept the course or not. The tests, also aren't changed up. You could basically just repeat the same test over and over again, guessing until you find the right answer. They definitely should have a mix of up tests to check you were paying attention. Will update if my company doesn't accept, or any additional charges that others have mentioned appear.
They are not recognized anywhere in Canada for the workplace. All classes in Canada MUST have an in class component. If your workplace accepts it, they do not understand regulations. Check with your provincial or territorial regulating body.
The website states "Simple CPR is a nationally accredited online CPR and BLS training class and certification provider. Our classes are all based on the latest AHA guidelines." I paid for the BLS/CPR certification and in the card it ended up saying "American HEALTH Association" instead of American Heart Association. Save your money! Report this company and website its a scam.
I chose this course because of the convenience of completing the training in the comfort of my home and doing it on my own time. I was really impressed with how thorough the information was and how clear it was to understand. I did notice that some of the exam questions asked certain things that I don remember covering in the training module but they were simple enough to answer them.
I will use the site again in the future and I've recommended it to other people who need their training as well. Thanks so much for providing this service!
It was convenient, affordable and incredibly simple to renew my certification. Would HIGHLY recommend this to my colleagues!
Everything's great. Just not sure why it's $20 to get such helpful and important information/certification that is easily replicated and disseminated online (virtually free after startup costs are covered right?).
After I figured out the tests and viewing results it was easy! Much better than having to plan a class in my already crazy schedule! Especially since it was just a refresher course for me I had CPR certification years ago!
Easy to apply but haven't completed course yet.
After finishing, I thought there would have been more in regards to first aid. When you take in classroom setting it takes a lot longer and more involved. But overall very good.
I wanted to sit down, pay and get this done; I work in a group home. The form would not accept the Chrome Auto fill. I had to contact your support desk and fiddle around with filling out basic information. Finally got it right. If billing info is same as first address, it should be fine to click check mark, not have to fill it all in again. Time is of the essence...
Overall, I found the course excellent. I was a little frustrated at first with the signing on, as explained above.
My test 2 made me repeat it 3 times, the system said "something went wrong, please try again" after I completed question 10.
Other than that it was a very easy website to navigate, and the course was efficient and straight to the point. Much more enjoyable and easier and faster than sitting in class for 8-12 hours!
Two ears ago I had the course and test in another place - it was good, but I did not know, that online method is so nice and interesting. I could correct my mistakes myself, what helped to me to understand the subject better. Thank you so much!
I have completed hands on training so many times previous, this just worked for what I needed right now. I love that you can train online and the simplicity of the process was great. The video clips make a great overall experience.
Looked quite a while to find this statement from the email [renewal notice to me from SimpleCPR]: ".Once logged in, there is a link that says "Click here to purchase additional courses" that will allow you to add a new course to your account." Didn't find it - ordered the course by regular method.
Easy refresher on basic first aid. Very reasonable cost.
Answer: If you finished all modules, there should be an option to download your certification. Beyond that, I'm unsure.
We regret that your employer/organization did not accept our certification. We can certainly provide you with a full refund. Although the American Heart Association is the most "recognizable" training organization in the US, it is NOT the only nationally accredited organization. American Red Cross, National Safety Council, and the American Health Association are ALL nationally accredited. To date, partnered with the American Health Association, we have successfully certified over 1 million individuals in the US and Canada.
