Scratch

I spent 2 hours making a game then scratch says sorry we could not save and deletes my game.I have not used scratch after that and I don't intend to again.

Has blocks of code to use if you r a pro coder. It has games that you can remix and alter it I have altered a clicker game and it almost crashed my computer. I use when I'm bored at school. It helps my boredom leave

This site is very bad because the Scratch Team is too strict at us. Like... everything else is fine, but starting in 2019, the moderation was growing more and more strict. It is so strict that not only are there
4-6 year olds that shouldn't be on this site, but more innocent projects are getting removed for bad reasons, or not even for a single reason and the results lead to more innocent scratchers banned than the number of toxic users and projects banned. All I want is peace such as less toxic projects and users, but fewer innocent projects and users that get banned for no reason just like how it was back before 2019.

On January of 2019, my 9-year-old son made his Scratch Account, he liked the kind "Griffpatchers" that had a little chatroom on a profile page of "griffpatch". But then, 5 years later, he got really uncomfortable and I asked him about why he was feeling so stressed out, it was because one of his best friends posted a picture of a penis on the website. We decided to delete his account for safety, and we reported and contacted about the account to Scratch, they did nothing about it. I checked the other accounts that he claims to be his "friends" and saw a horrible video of a fight and even some people sharing homophobic and incessive content, do not use Scratch, the community is a terrible place to be.

Scratch is very good, but the worst part about it is that it is poorly moderated and it is common for innocent projects to get removed by mass reporting, and it is also common for innocent scratchers to get banned for barley any reason.

Scratch is a fun site, however it's mostly for younger kids. Anything including horror projects, advertising, and jumpscares will get your project blocked. You will also get banned just for having a collab account, which doesn't make any sense. If you make large projects, I don't reccomend Scratch. It's very slow.

If parents paid attention to what their children were "posting" in chats, maybe the site could be focused on what it was actually intended for like coding

I got block for trying talking about meeting in real life or on a chat site and all I did is add "am (time am)" but I only said the time in my place. It doesn't cares as long as it find something in your comment "inappropriate" and don't look into what the comment actually meant. Also it block me twice for saying something bad in a comment and don't tell me which one or why.

When I first joined Scratch in 2016, it was much better until 2018 when trolls and bullies started ganging up on me. 2020 is probably worse though, because the ST banned me, just because of the Crummy Scratchers Wiki, and they thought it was gossip and insults, but it was just valid criticism to help the Scratchers improve. I also got bullied a lot for following people, and why get mad at someone when they follow you? I've also been through a bunch of flame wars and all of that, and people who were in the flame wars even play the victim card.

I really like the way of how Scratch is with creativity, but... its moderation is really awful, because it can give us warnings, blocks, or bans for no reason! As a result, Scratch needs to fix their moderation! I would not recommend this website for children.
