They told me I could change my ticket, but Ryanair does not do refunds or credits.
I would give them a negative -5 star review if I could.
These are the pirates of the sky and now after my last interaction with them. I will never fly Ryanair again.
I don't care if it costs me 3 or even 6 times their airfare to fly with anyone else.
My mother in-law has had a major stroke. I have 8 days before I was going on a flight with Ryanair. I spent 45 min waiting for someone to attend to me on the chat (complete waste of my time).
So I went to my booking to change the tickets to a later date. The charges to change is more than the tickets I purchased.
£45 per flight per change and the difference in the airfare.
Now to be clear. I was changing my flight from December 2024 this year to March 2025.
It is absolutely criminal and I have had enough. I am sharing this everywhere I can to save others the robbery from rip off artist that is RyanAir.
We have flown with Ryanair for years, but for the first time we had to cancel due to a potentially serious issue with our daughters pregnancy. They have made things impossible to contact nor recognising any of our phone numbers or emails. They are only interested in getting as much money as possible, even though they advertise themselves as caring. We will look to finding another carrier going forward.
So very dissapointed. Booking reference VWT9PJ
$#*!y experience the staff is rude specialy in Tangier the flight was delayed and because I considered the delay and came before more than an hour from the new flight they didn't print my boarding pass where it is clearly saying I have to come before an 1 hour from the departure and they printed for another guy that beside because the onw of the staff knows him, so I advice the people seeing my comment to go with other airlines where the staff are more polite and treat people equaly
It is a disgraceful how Ryanair discriminate disabled passengers with mobility problem
I have travel from Budapest to London by Ryanair airlines. I have mobility issues so I use walking stick to walk and I unable to stand for long. Ryanair staff denied the boarding because I unable to stand and wait for the delayed flight for hours. I have been at the gate on time, sit front of the passport control desk for an hour. The Ryanair opened the gate, but there was no disabled sit provided after the passport control so I have sit front of the desk wait for arrive the delayed flight, and to the boarding to be start, because I am not able to stand and wait for hours. When the actual boarding started I walked to the passport control desk, but they did not let me board saying I was late. I told them I unable to stand and no disabled sit provided after the passport control, but the Ryanair staff was impolite and refusal to help. Eventually they refused my boarding and ordered me to go away. I told them I have hospital appointment next day, which is about my near future operation. The Ryanair staff ignored me, saying we did not care about your problem, we are in hurry, GO AWAY. I asked for police about this discrimination, and I already reported the issue to Budapest airport. Called several Ryanair phone number, but the Ryanair costumer services did not help. If I was able to talk someone, they told me I need to call other number which was out of service. In the end I called Budapest airport, they give me information and advice. I have to buy new ticket for the later flight cost £300. I have no extra budget for that, but I did not want to miss my Hospital appointment. I have to spend several extra hours at the airport my knee and hip were hurting very much because the long waiting.
I extremely disappointed with the Ryanair policy which force disabled people suffer at the passport control gate because they do not bother to provide sit for disabled passengers after the gate. I am sure it is against the EU law.
My concern some aviation officials do not care Ryanair airline discrimination policy will be effect all type of travel opportunity for disabled passengers. Today Ryanair use discriminating policy, next time another big carrier do the same, in the end disabled people has no chance to travel, because companies like Ryanair, do not want to provide the necessarily service for disabled passengers.
Please respond and give me advice how, and where I can report this issue to the European legal service or ask for aviation investigation against the Ryanair discriminative boarding method policy. It is no point wasting time to make EU law, when companies like Ryanair ignore them.
What a waste of time service desk, absolutely disgusting. Some top secret person answered, I explained the situation with passport and capability's with check in. Help desk refused to help free of charges offered to do it at airport for additional £55. On request for the name who he was, hanged on Me⁉‼ Absolutely rip off🤢🤢🤢
Ryanair is a scam flight company. They try to attract customers and compete other airlines rivals by their advertised low cost tickets. In reality, they charge additional fares at the check-in desks because they know customers are in a trapped situation. If the customers refuse to pay for these out-of-the-blue additional fares, they risk their flight boarding. They charged £55 for check-in, and hundreds of pounds by all their bul$#*! bags policy. If adding all the scam fares, the total ticket price is higher than other standard flight companies, but the service offered by Ryanair is worse than the latter. Surprisingly aviation authority keeps a blind eye on these scam flight companies. Instead of "Ryanair - low fair- great care", it should be changed to "Ryanair - more fares - no care - nightmare."
I booked an extra legroom seat on my return flight from Malaga which was last night at a cost of £28.00, however they changed the plane type and hence the seating configuration, so the seat I actually got was a normal legroom one. As I did not get the extra legroom seat I paid for I requested a refund of the £28.00 through the Ryanair app, as the useless stewardess (that's another story), only to get an automated response telling me about problems checking in, suggesting that I hadn't checked in properly. Not even mention of the refund. They are so useless, I don't know how they can be so appalling. Yes they're cheap, but they make up for it with hidden costs. They're not worth it, shall be spending just a little bit more next time on a much better airline.
Unbelievable but true
2.5 years ago Ryanair sent me a cheque in euros issued by a German Bank to my British address in return for cancelling the flight I was supposed to have taken 3 months before.
The currency exchange fee and the bank commission to cash it in was higher than the amount of the cheque itself.
Nice try Ryanair, if you don't want your customers to get reimbursed just send cheques on a different currency.
I am a university doctor from Sweden. I took a Ryanair flight three days ago from Copenhagen to Vienna without any problem. Today, I took the return flight. I was this time told I must pay a penalty fee for my exactly identical bag. I told them I came three days ago with Ryanair, with the same bag. Ryanair's staff did not believe me. I offered them the ticket as proof. They ignored it and shouted at me to 'pay the fine or you cannot board the plane'. I then removed a large duvet cover from my bag, after which the bag fit into their standard model box. Still, they ignored it, and repeated: pay or be left behind. Upon request, they also refused to give me their names, or the name of their manager. I also watched as Ryanair's staff showed the same disrespectful treatment to many other, visibly upset, passengers.
Know this before choosing Ryanair:
1) They can forcibly take a large amount of money from you at the gate without justification.
2) If you dont pay, they can threaten to not give you the service you have bought and paid for.
3) They are not necessarily interested in a civilized conversation, as was my case.
I have flown Ryanair regularly for over a decade. I must now reconsider my future choices.
Just don't with Ryanair. Save yourself the frustration. No amount of savings is worth it. And if you must, keep in mind that if you book through a third party (which you may have to do because Ryanair website often won't allow you to input necessary info), you'll have to go through a ridiculous verification process, which seems to only exist to extract a few more cents out of you.
Answer: Gli addetti allo scarico, appena l'aereo atterra all'aeroporto di destinazione. Se il bagaglio lo hai imbarcato devi provvedere tu a scaricarlo.
