Upon check in we were told the additional fee's would be almost the same as the nightly rate for the amenities and parking. NO where did it state this when it was booked. We were told we owed over $350.00 for our 3 night stay. WTH! When I called to inquire they told me "sorry, there's nothing we can do" I left it up to my CC company to decide. Use another service.
I much appreciated the ease of using the site for Reservationcounter.com. It described the rooms, presented pictures, and various costs. Their cancellation policies were under each room, so I didn't have to look elsewhere for them.

Easy to use and got a better price then other places I was searching but I did not realize until after my confirmation was received that they charge a fee

Zero Stars. Unfortunately, they make you pick minimum 1 star. Lots of red flags. I was made to think I was booking directly with the hotel, when asking questions, the person on the phone had to put me on hold while they looked up the rooms to share what they included, the agent also spoke so fast as to confuse you and get you off the phone, making me feel like it's a scam. Only when I was transferred to a "colleague" to answer shuttle questions, was I made aware that I was transferred to a third party travel agency from the original travel agency. I am now in conversations to get my full refund as they say it can take up to 10 business days. They charge the amount in full, I cancelled within 30 minutes, they say there is nothing they can do. Do Not Book with them. When travelling, please book with hotels directly. Support Local.

I did select 2 guest and 2 rooms. But it gave me options for 4 guests total. I was on a time crunch so! Went ahead and booked it anyways but there should be more clarification on the front end of "total guests" vrs "guests per room".

Good-no problems once I got it all figured out. I am looking forward to our family function on the island as it will be our 50th wedding anniversary and everyday is a challenge at our age so we are very excited that our children will be able to join us.

I didn't see that I had to pay upon booking with no possibility of a refund or cancellation. Actually, I saw it as I pressed the "confirm" button - too late! I would not have used Reservation Counter had I known.

I made our reservation for the beginning of our vacation and it was through Expedia by using the Hotels in Lexington website and didn't realize I could do directly through Hyatt Place. But you were very fast a and a little higher. However, I am happy to stay at Hyatt Place to and from St. Louis to Virginia Beach.

Answer: Trying to cancel a reservation, the rote voice said it did not recognize the phone number, even though it was the same phone I used to make the reservation. Then asked if the reservation confirmation number started with an R. I said No. It asked me several more times. I kept answering No. Then it told me to call the hotel for help and hung up. Called the hotel. They said they could not cancel since the reservation was made through a third-party company. That I would have to cancel through ReservationCounter. (Oh, by the way, I had tried to use the online Cancellation page - it doesn't work.) It was very difficult to get through to anybody and there were very long waits in between. I will never use this company again.
