Ordering online was easy. I wanted to pick it up locally and when you get to the shipping portion of checkout you can do that there. Good pricing for the metal I needed and order was ready in 2 days. Pick up was a breeze.
Needed some small diameter brass tubing to make some custom axle bearings for an old Lionel train engine. Online Metals had the right size to start the process and with a little machining the bearings were made. The final result was some great running wheels on axles housed in the brass tubing.

Disappointed in the rewards shift. I no longer qualify because of the short time frame to earn. I make several large orders during the year, but not within the rewards time frame. Might have to look elsewhere sadly.

One of the items for my project was sourced through an external vendor. I requested next-day delivery to meet my timeline. However, there was a significant delay in forwarding the order to the vendor, which resulted in a multi-day hold-up before the vendor even began processing it. To ensure progress, I had to follow up multiple times to confirm whether the order had been sent to the vendor. Unfortunately, this delay has now impacted my project timeline.
I ordered a custom cut, 6"x6" piece of 0.040 brass. I received a 12"x12" cut into four pieces, each 6"x6". I was not expecting 4 pieces. Exactly what I ordered, and then some!
