I bought $50.00 of candy, all terrible! They offered me half my order in credit for my complaint. I took them up on additional products which was also poor grade! I don't think its their fault, i think its the chinese factories in mexico turning out substandard food products. The old looking Christmas candy was the worst!All the same Lemon flavor and busted up and stuck together! Make quality products in the USA
Used to order for years was very happy.not any more.the quality of the nuts in shell seem stale and old.Will not purchase from them anymore.I TRIED again.still stale and old. Especially the hazelnuts in shell.
Placed an order on December 2nd to be delivered on the 19th for my boss for the holidays. Received an email on the 18th stating it was running late on shipping but should go out in a day or two. When I didn't hear back I decided to call. I was told that my basket of nuts and cookies that I ordered were out of stock. How does that work. They weren't out of stock when I placed the order on the 2nd. How do you not have the items when you knew about them more than 2 weeks before. Now it's Friday 5 days before Christmas. It will cost me more to have something shipped express and be guaranteed by the holiday. I am so upset!. They are not reliable at all!
This was my first time purchasing from this company. What a HORRIBLE experience! If I could give zero stars, I would! I was told 4 different times that my package would be delivered by the end of the day. No package was ever delivered. I started calling after a week to find out why it wasn't delivered. Just today I was told (again) it would be delivered by the end of the day. Well, it's the end of the day and still not here. I purchased before cyber Monday to avoid the mess…. Only to be mixed in the mess. So much for giving it as a gift to someone, when it never showed up. The phone reps are not helpful either. If you want to speak with a manager, they tell you that could take up to 3 days. WTH!?!
I will not ever be purchasing from this company again, nor would I ever recommend it to any one. Buyer beware!
I can't add a photo of proof of purchase since I never received what I purchased.
We received our $139 order and upon opening saw that Nuts.com failed to packed the box properly. No packaging material in the box allowed all of the bags and containers to tumble around during shipping squishing everything chocolate, and causing one the products which is packed in a clear plastic, non airtight box to burst open costing all the other containers in sticky goop and powdered chocolate.
Since some of the items we bought were meant as gifts for family, we washed the bags of as best we could.
In spite of this, the packaging was stained in an oily sticky residue and unsuitable for gifting.
Since we couldn't gift the treats we slowly have tried some of them ourselves only to find many of the different varieties of treats we ordered were STALE!
Thank goodness we didn't gift them! How embarrassing!
After numerous communications with Nuts.com employees, at first we were told that the order would be replaced.
Then I was told that I would only receive a $12.99 credit for the one product that opened during shipping squishing everything
Each new communication seemed to come from a different person who was unfamiliar with my previous communications. Some we signed with a first initial only, some first names and some with initials and none with actual job titles.
As a loyal customer of Nuts.com we have been flabbergasted as to how unprofessional the whole experience has been.
After my response to their last communication in which "CJ", informed me that I was to receive a $12.99 credit PayPal emailed me to say my entire order had been refunded.
So I guess Nuts.com is done with me.
And I with them.
Poor packaging. Poor communication. Stale product.
And no one seemed to really care!
Beware of buying food products from this company.
They were advertising 20% off and free shipping off of a order of over $59. When I went to place my order that was over $59, the 20% came off but the shipping did not. I called customer service and she told me that there is very tiny, almost illegible fine print that says the total has to be over $59 after the 20% off discount. Very deceiving advertising. She then hung up on me!
Delivery delayed due to them not having the product in their NV warehouse. I needed it by the date they had promised. They could not tell me what product is available in NV, so I could make a change. Would also not cancel the order. Phone disconnected several times before they answered. Then customer service rep hung up in the middle of the conversation. Possibly we were disconnected. Sounded like she was in the Phillipines.or India.Needless to say, I will not have the products intime for the event I ordered them for, but I could not get a revised ETA.
I had some some cherry fruit slices at a wedding and looked online for some- thought Nuts.com would be the best. They don't even remotely taste like cherry sooo disappointed and expensive too. They have a horrible plastic stale smell and no flavor at all.
Be careful when ordering products. Items are mislabeled. "Gummi Sour Cherry hearts" were actually jellies, a big difference. "Sour neon candy worms" were sweet. Peanuts were stale. Their satisfaction guarantee is only to give a 50% store credit. That does not help when you have no plans to order from this company again. The only thing I liked were the half-popped popcorn. Though many pieces were still whole and unpopped.
Answer: I had a gift order sent to a remote area on a reservation. My sister/friend was thrilled with her gifts and all was as ordered. I love this company and its variety of products.
