I purchased three lamps online and returned them I have been begging for two weeks for them to refund me. Do yourself a favor and think twice before using the open box website. The return process is outrageous as they assume you are up to no good. I returned items that were low quality and that I found to be unacceptable. They told me it could take a month to get a refund. I still do not have my $300 back and am sick of being played by them.

You may think open box purchases are a deal with Lamps Plus... but think again. After their hefty mandatory shipping fees are added to the "less than pristine" product, you may as well purchase it new with free shipping. Or better yet, go to a merchant that always provides free shipping with $$$ purchases.

I purchased a chandelier for $99 ($26 shipping) - normally $200. Great deal... except it didn't really look anything like it did on the website. I decided to return it. Called them and received the RMA, with the warning that I had to pay return shipping. To my horror, the return shipping cost $89. For a $99 light fixture that didn't look like the picture on the website. Ugh. So yes, the deals are good but if you don't like it, you are screwed.

You may save a little money - but not much after they charge large shipping fees that you will not pay at regular site.
