Package did arrive later in January and everything was packed well and there was no damage. Still was a disappointing transaction and felt that their Customer Service (and Site in general) were not upfront with me.
Ordered 12/3 for a Christmas present - item didn't show up as of a month later. When asked, they said there was a delay but then again, were not proactive in any communication.
I wouldn't have placed the order to begin with if it was not going to arrive before Christmas - AND, if it was going to be shipped from BEIJING, CHINA. Glass from China? What can go wrong here... we will see.
I bought the Thor Series: Rainbow Galaxy glass dip pen as a birthday gift to myself and I love it. I recently began exploring the world of fointain pens and pens that just are a different. I found the glass dip pen and knew I would have to order one. I was not disappointed. It is beautiful and everyone who has seen it has commented on it. It is so easy to use and I feel transported to the past when people dipped their pens in ink daily to write.
The pen fits comfortably in my hand and I love the four colors of ink that came with my pen. It is easy to clean up and just an all around great gift idea. I intend to buy from the Constellation series: The Scorpio pen for as it is my birth sign.
The only drawback I have found is that since it is glass it would be very easy to break the tip on it. I think though if you treat it like glass it will last you for a long time. I also wish they sent bigger vials of ink but you can buy ink from your local stationary store or craft store. I will definitely be purchasing more glass dip pens.
