I will come back and change my 1 star rating once I get my refund. I went in with my paperwork that I downloaded had everything I needed only for the post office to tell me I needed a referral letter which you all did not include. The only benefit ExpressPassport does is automate the application process. They do nothing to help speed up the process of you getting your passport. Save your money, download the application, get your photo taken at Walgreens, select "expedited service" on your application, and then write a check for a little more money. You will get the passport back faster, and the freaking US Government has better customer service than ExpressPassport who makes you wait on hold for 45 minutes only to tell you they can't do anything to speed things even though you paid them for their "services."
On top of this, ExpressPassport did not even know you could write your congressperson to help truly speed up the process. How does an ExpressPassport service not know about this?
Don't waste your money!
So I submitted my application and it was received in Thursday at 10am. I have a chance to make an appointment with the passport agency nearby but I have to either have my application and supporting documents or have a case number. Called them today to see what the status is. A lady answered with a lot of noose in the background and she basically hung up on me when I asked the same question twice since I didn't hear the answer. Called again and after 40 minutes another lady answered and said it is still being reviewed by another department before it gets submitted to the agency! Isn't this supposed to be a rushed service?! Why is the delay coming from the company claiming to rush things up for you?! I could've submitted the application myself and it would've been way faster.
The 1800 number they will never answer. Try for yourself. The email will never be responded to. Again try for yourself.
They took my money to help me expedite my passport application. Thier app was not working and I reached out for support and they would not return my calls or emails. They are a scam and you can find bad reviews about them all over the internet as they also operate at govworks - so beware.
This website is a scam, there is no expedition. They start your process way after you sent out your information and already paid for everything. You're better off going to a local post office than this hoax of a website. Their customer service horrible cannot help you any way, they just sit their in silence thinking of ways of how to explain that they're "helping" you. Going to lose thousands of dollars on a trip, because express passport doesn't actually expedite anything.
Do not under any circumstance use this service. On Dec 6,2020 my husband submitted his paperwork in person for the expedited service for our upcoming trip Feb 24,2021. It is now Feb 17,2021 and we do not have his passport. This situation is now very stressful as this was planned to be a family trip with others depending on us and has not been made any better by their customer service. There is zero culpability on their part and there is zero effort made to help us. You are better off dealing directly with the State Department as several members of the group had done that and received their passports in 3-4 weeks (understandably this is FAST), but they started their process AFTER we submitted my husbands paperwork to Express Passport. They were received 2 weeks and we still have no answers as to where my husband's passport is.
I was diverted unknowingly from the US Postal site. I did not know this until they got my CC information. I immediately reached out via email and phone ( no answer), no help on website that I needed to cancel because their service will not work. I have a minor child and must appear in person. They never responded to and it's been 2.5 months. They have claimed to the BBB and my CC company that they can't give my money back despite no service because I did not use a proper cancellation form that they must provide within 3 days. However, they don't provide it! This service is only useful to an adult renewing ( you can do this at court or post office). Otherwise, it's a bait and switch scam.
Initially had issues with the website, but customer service provided an alternate website to complete our order. Our representative was extremely patient and based on availability, recommended paying for a cheaper package. Shipped documents to company on Tuesday, received passport on Monday. Easy checklists and instructions. Expensive but saved us a 6 hour drive we were unable to make. Thank you.
Great experience, easy to use and the process flowed just as they advertise. My passport is here in plenty of time w/o any drama or problems. I will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Expresspassport was able to get us a new passport for my son in less than 48 hours after we discovered it lost 3 days before our vacation-that is including a trip to a passport identification center which is required for passports under 16-marvellous!

Answer: Yes, if you have a minor child. Also, you must already have flight information for Expresspassport which conflicts with school trips methods.
