I purchased a shirt for my husband for Father's Day and it took them 20 days to get it to me. Was too late! They claimed it's a nationwide delay for all carriers. So ridiculous when everyone else gets their packages to me in under 4-5 days. No apologies. No make-good. Nothing. DO NOT ORDER from them. You can get similar shirts at Zara that feel nicer too!
After the company sent the wrong size pants, I had to pay for return shipping. I was charged shipping both ways for NOTHING. On my credit card they deducted all the shipping charges from my refund. The pants I ordered are sold out so no chance of exchange, however, I'm really not interested in an exchange, as it would probably be more time and money wasted. Avoid this company!
Update: after posting this, cubavera refunded the shipping charges also.
So I ordered shirts and inadvertently did not order the correct size. Their site has NO phone number for customer service which of course tells you to email and since they truly value your business, they will reply quickly. So I emailed asking for the size change. Then I received an auto reply saying it always takes between 1 and 2 days to reply. Again, they said they "valued my business". Well two days later they finally replied and said they cannot change the size. The order would have to be cancelled and then I would have to reorder. By the way, this also meant the discount code I used would no longer be valid". They said as a courtesy they would cancel my order and I should return to the site to order again. Of course it took two days to reply and the order with the wrong sizes had already been shipped. Hence, my ranking of 1.
I ordered a pair of pants, but they never came. FedEx doesn't know where they are, and Cubavera does have customer service, only a computer that blocks calls to a human being. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever dealt with
I ordered a linen shirt and pants, paid for overnight shipping. Although the did credit back the shipping charge, I have yet to receive my merchandise. I contacted Fedex and they said the package was either damaged or delivery was was interrupted for some reason
I have purchased Cubavera shorts before and am on their email list. Recently I got an offer of 2 shirts for $50. I ordered two shirts whose price was somewhat higher than that and was charged full listed price. The small print set no limit on the shirt prices and promised to apply the discount on checking out. I was charged the full prince. Ever since I have been trying to contact Cubavera. The customer service number is no such thing as it requires knowing the name of a person or an extension number. Three emails to them have gone unanswered. A complaint forwarded by pissedcustomer was, they told me, "passed on." I have informed the credit card company to dispute the charge if they try to collect. I see that many people have encountered similar problems with Cubavera so my experience is not exceptional.
The sizes run small. We had to return our order. The website did state you would be charged $6 for the return; however, it was not stated that the original shipping costs would also be charged. So I paid $13 to try on a shirt and purchased nothing. Not cool!
I purchase a shirt for a good friend who turned 60 but item never arrived. The purchase was made in March 15 and his birthday was in April 22. I called FEDEX and I learned the item was shipped by cargo ship. No company sends a shirt by ship but these people. Ridiculous. Birthday is over still haven't receive the item and we're in the month May. Don't buy anything from this company.
These are cheaply made cloths. Not a single item fit me. This is my 3rd attempt to return these items for a refund. Cubavera has not responded to any of my requests. Now I will have my credit card reverse the charge.
Buyer be ware! If you buy shirts from this place make sure to return before the return policy expires I bought 5 shirts from them for my trip to Mexico. I wore one dark blue shirt one time and after I hung it up to dry it dried with the streaks on it. I returned the shirt but no refund. They told me the time to return damaged merchandise had expired. What a rip off. I will never buy anything from theses crooks again. I would send a photo but I returned the shirt. Now they have my money and my shirt.
