I purchased a refurbished Steelcase Leap v2 from Crandall. It was between Crandall and BTOD. They are both great companies. In fact, my last new chair was from BTOD. Crandall won this purchase because they use totally new foam pads that are 3/4" thicker than OEM.
Frankly, I was a pain in the neck customer. I admit it. Firstly, I had trouble putting the chair together. The gliders were hard for me because I didn't read the directions and I have zero mechanical reasoning. They talked me through it. I had the plastic backwards.
Secondly, I was complaining about the lack of lumbar support. Again, my bad. I hadn't read the directions and had the adjustment knobs reversed in my mind. They straighten me out and the lumbar was fine.
The chair feels like new because most of it is and the steel guts are renewed beautifully.
Throughout my being a pain, Kim Koster was very patient with me. The chair is top notch and in my opinion superior to a new one, due to the thicker OEM cushion. The customer service is better than top notch. The folks are genuinely kind and concerned. They WANT you to be happy with their products.
