Really unreliable internet with no redundancy anywhere in their systems. Just looked at their company financials-not stable. Waaaayy too much debt. Big dive in the last couple of years.
On our first bill we were charged for a tablet that we never received, we called and told them to take it off of the bill months ago, and now we are seeing months later that it's still on there, they are saying that it was delivered and are trying to make us file a police report for something we never received. I picked our tower and modem up in store. It's a bogus way to get us to pay these little fees! Read what you are paying for!
Spectrum salespeople do not represent actual services delivered. They will tell you anything to make a sale, but you are left with contacting customer service, only to find that what you thought you were getting is not what you receive. Programming for TV and voice options are not clearly represented by store representatives, channel line-ups are different, caller ID was stated as not being available to di. Splay yet it was.
I cannot believe that fort. Few dollars you sacrificing all espn/sec sports viewers. I am glad that when I move this fall, I will dump Spectrum cable. If other apps can keep espn, you could have too! Terrible mistake Charter!
I only have them because i am in an area that comcast doesn't service. Going from cast to chatter is like a slap in the face. Every spectrum/ charter commercial talks about fast internet when that could not be further from the truth! The internet is slow and that's when it wants to work! Our bill has doubled in the past years and the service just keeps getting worse
I used their internet for a # of years but recently switched due to a 46% price increase and the overall inflationary environment and needing to reduce costs within our household. While the cancellation process was time consuming and overall frustrating because they kept trying to take rates back down, I finally got through to them that I was cancelling. I cancelled my internet service and returned the equipment to UPS on 4/10/2023. My final bill on 4/1/2023 was for service from 4/1 - 4/30. However, it was not mentioned to me when I cancelled that I would still be paying for the entire month even though I only utilized their service for 1/3 of the month. Just an overall horrible business practice to bill someone for a service they do not have.
Bill goes up every year. Spent 3 weeks in row with there customer service, who doesn't know what the hell they're doing. Bill still isn't correct. Was told credit was applied. Instead services were canceled without my permission. Than after hr and 45 minutes on phone to get services turned back on. Credit was removed from Bill. Horrible, horrible service
Terrible service. I'm using cellular typing this as charter WiFi isnt working. Always seems to stop working at night, especially on Sunday. Bring on Fios! And jail to the cocksuckers who thought that ripping us off was ok
I have had both with charter 4 like 7 years and I moved and set my move up with charter and they turned my service off early and I had a 90$ Remaining they didn't put it on my bill they transferred nor did they call me they turned the 90 into collections wtf who would do that over 90$ charter did
Horrible company to work for, highly political and biased.
Worked out of Beloit WI, transferred to Duluth MN. Even worse there in Duluth as management and coworkers were just as bad, if not worse.
Getting a higher wage in Beloit and transferring to Duluth, everyone wanted to know my wage.
The "so called personnel girl" got canned for disclosing my salary to everyone else in the crew. Everyone got a raise thanks to my transfer. Everyone whom works for charter or what its called now (spectrum) is infantile or a child. Stay away from this place unless you are truly despotic.
James Banta and Gary Cockswell are two to stay away from for sure. Do not go near this company if you can.
Find another company to apply too and do not consider this one unless you are in dire straits.
