Brown Iron Brewhouse

I was visiting Detroit last week and not too thrilled as I realized I needed to purchase warmer clothing to survive the freezing weather. I was even less thrilled to learn that my group would be eating at a BBQ restaurant. As a southern girl and a Texan, I love barbecue but have seldom found really good barbecue outside the southern states. As I looked at the menu, the item Texas Brisket caught my attention. For pure amusement, I ordered the dish mainly to confirm my speculation that the rest of the world doesn't know BBQ. Fast forward…. I ate every morsel… I even enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts, a vegetable I've probably only nibbled at 2-3 times in 46 years. The food was amazing! I will return.
