Have you seen the beta of their new site?
When a news site goes to a blog format, it tends to shock me --- now, I did not like their old site, but now, it seems like it has moved to being a site that is poor and discheleved.
I think after the first feedback they slapped the word BETA on the site.
I can't imagine them staying with this model.
Content is good -- I enjoy the local features (Best "blank" in Boston), but these tend to get recycled semi often, which is a bummer.
I'm waiting for a new iteration of the site and maybe I will upgrade my review at that time.
I took out a 4 week vacation rental ad on boston.com. I didn't get one e mail and thought it odd.So I pulled up the ad and sent a mock e mail to see if it would go through and land in the correct in box. It didn't. I sent boston.com 3 e mails since they do not have a phone number! And I have yet to hear from anyone to help resolve the issue. So I have my house advertised and if someone is interested and tries to e mail me, they get no where. And boston.com won't respond to me. No support. No phone number. How perfect for a company (if you can call it that) that can do what they want and have to answer to no one? I would NEVER use this site again.
Ordered a long sleeve Boston logo tee
Material feels like cardboard- poor quality print
Should have read reviews before ordering as they do not accept returns
