If you like to be frustrated, disappointed and want to take a few years off your life, then yes consign with the real real.

No don't sell through them, list the item yourself, take a few photos and sell it yourself, that way your in control and can negotiate pricing with potential buyers, here are some sites, Poshmark is easy only takes 20%, Tradesy takes less but for me items move slow, also Shop-hers only sells luxury and items move faster pay out is roughly 7 days with them though. The others i mentioned pays as soon as the item is accepted by the buyer, i repeat DO NOT SELL WITH THE REAL REAL, you will not see your item listed only in glyph inventory and will have to just accept what they sell it for, I don't trust because i can't see the item listed!

Listen to Greta they marked down my items way way lower than agreed upon & then refused to provide a receipt of exactly how much they sold it for, they rip people off DO NOt sell your merchandise with them you're better off with poshmark or eBay

They have the right to hold onto your bag for 6 months and they can keep dropping the price of it without consulting you so you may not see any money for up to 7 1/2 months and the sale price may end up horribly low

I would not recommend you sell your Chanel bag through TRR. Read other seller reviews. The prices this co assign items are ridiculous. The description is inaccurate. Lightly used, even if it has a label and it was never used. You gave no control over the price TRR assigns the item. There is a permanent 20% discount for buyers, deducted off the list price. Then you get 60% of the 80% price! Basically a 48% payout, less the half go the list or ice. I do not consider this s good deal. TRR is in full control of pricing. They can lower the price any time. I thing the best items are purchased by insiders for dirt cheap prices the assign the merchandize. I would sell it on Ebay or find a consignment shop where you have more control over the price. Or give it to charitupy as a tax write off. This co is a speed selling co trying to make a quick buck, not to get you a good price.
Read seller reviews, interestingly not one positive seller review.

I wouldn't consign with the RealReal. I have purchased numerous items from the RealReal over the past few years, and I love buying from the. But consigning with them has been a total nightmare. As others have mentioned, they take forever to sell your items, and often they sell them at very low prices. Try Yoogi's Closet. They will pay you up front for designer bags. I got a lot more for my items using them, and it was A LOT faster.

I wouldn't. If they don't lose it they will price it low to sell fast. They also will find things wrong with it that aren't there or list in inaccurately.

Don't sell your bag through them at all they still have my brand new Rick Owens sneakers marked as being updated for like damn near 3 months now, they are the worst plus they don't ever understand anything you're trying to say at all which is frustrating they make no sense, it's like yo why are you selling my shit and gave me what u feel like giving me back they would take as much as 80% of the final selling price

Gee this is interesting. I wrote to Stan G. A few weeks ago regarding credits for returns. I do not consign but rather buy from them. I was told STAN G. IS NO LONGER WITH THIS COMPANY! The!'s are mine. Now I see, above, he, Stan G answered your question "4 hours ago"?
I have had a couple fo dealings with Stan and have found him to be ever so fair, understanding and generally a fine person to work with. Wonder it the context of my email made "them", whoever "them" maybe not just do not want me to be in touch with him. Why? Maybe he would tell me the truth, which I already suspect, and they, the almighty "they" did not want that. This is the only thought I have concerning why I would be told he was not longer at TRR and here he is weeks later, answering questions. I hope you would talk with him, Stan. He has been ever so fair, honest and nice to me. And Stan, Thanks. Strange - Strange - Strange,
