I am seeing a lot of negative things about the organization in reviews. I am also not clear on how this all works? What am I to believe? I want to volunteer and help but this is not encouraging.

I just came back from volunteering in Guatemala. This is a real organization and is very professional. Not a scam. I encourage you to call or email them to answer any questions that you have.
