My 14 yo daughter made a purchase when she changed her mind like kids do I tried to return it for her. I was there the day she made the purchase the store employee made no mention of their no return policy. They only offer exchange or store credit. They really should think about in person customer service with all the online availability and no hassle returns. They seem to only hire staff by checking for a heartbeat. Employees have no skills anymore
I recently placed an online order and purchased a prestige card at the same time. While my order arrived, the prestige card was not included. Yesterday, I visited one of their stores to make a purchase, and despite showing proof of my prestige card purchase, the staff couldn't apply the discount.
Today, I reached out to customer service and spoke with a representative named Nancy. She informed me that if I place another order online, they could apply a 10% refund afterward. I asked if they could waive the shipping fee due to their error, especially considering I had already visited the store. Unfortunately, Nancy firmly refused, suggesting I have the order shipped to the store for pickup instead to avoid the shipping fee.
Given that this issue was their mistake, I expected a bit more effort to make things right. I don't think waiving the shipping fee is an unreasonable request under the circumstances. Based on this experience, I won't be doing business with this company again. Their customer service has been disappointing.
10 years+ with Suzy and renewing membership. However I got the wrong size after placing order online. My bill was over $300+. I got one dress wrong size which was final sale worth of $25. I did go to store to get the size exchanged. They told me to go to another location as they don't have it. They can not return but size change will take place even it is final sale. I tried another location but they had no stock. Finally I emailed customer service and they gave completely opposite answer that I can not even exchange the size. I got 5 replies from them and showing their policies and all BS. Their customer service rep has no name in signatures and ignoring the fact that I am not a person to exchange things like that as I am their loyal customer which they can check under my membership. They ignored the fact because of their system glitch I got wrong size, also their customer service in store gave me another info which is not matching. I have donated the dress to Value village as It's not worth talking to Suzy trained bodies without Names.
My gift card was $30.57 and my purchase was $30.58. They told me to use my debit card for 0.1 cents. I gave them a penny and they wouldn't accept it and said that I owed.10 cents more and they would put 0.8 cents back on my gift card. Now I have a useless gift card for 0.8 cents. This is the reason I stopped shopping at Suzy Shier 20 years ago. I will never go back and I have told my experience to my family and friends. Because it's 40% off after you buy the membership but you're spending $25 to buy a membership
I should have save $20 than buying your membership

I bought an orchid colored turtleneck sweater. I could barely get it over my head. I'm 5'5 and weigh 120 pounds. It's made in Turkey and obviously defective.
Older woman, assistant manager. Very rude, creepy, unprofessional. Avoid this store, stick with online.
I had a disappointing experience at Suzyshir in Cross Iron Mall, Calgary, and I feel compelled to share my encounter. I was initially excited about finding a top I liked, especially since there was a sign indicating a 40% discount on items priced at $39. The sign explicitly stated that these items would be reduced to $23, and the top I chose was the only one marked at $39.
However, my enthusiasm quickly turned to frustration when I reached the cashier. Despite the clear signage, I was told the top would cost me $27 instead of the advertised $23. When I pointed out the discrepancy, I was met with sheer rudeness from the cashier, Shrutip Mahajan. She not only dismissed my concerns but also displayed a complete lack of respect and professionalism.
In an attempt to resolve the issue, I requested to speak with the manager. Shockingly, Shrutip claimed to be the assistant manager and insisted there was no higher authority available. When I said that I would like to contact the main office, her response was nothing short of insulting. She belittled me in front of other customers, suggesting I had "too much time" on my hands.
I want to emphasize that my concern wasn't solely about the price difference, but rather the unacceptable attitude and behavior displayed by Shrutip Mahajan. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of customer service and professionalism demonstrated by this staff member. Such behavior is completely unwarranted and unacceptable in any retail setting.
I hope Suzyshir takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of their employees. Customers should be treated with respect and courtesy, regardless of the situation. My experience has left me with a negative impression of this store, and I sincerely hope that others are spared from such a disrespectful encounter in the future.
Careful shopping in the Calgary downtown location! They don't honor their exchange policy. Tried to exchange a set of bracelets. Was told jewelry can't be exchanged but their policy clearly states: No exchange or store credit available on earrings, intimate apparel or merchandise reduced by 50% or more." None of this applied to my purchase yet an exchange was refused. Escalated to the District Manager who in an email, confirmed, he is also unaware of the stores' policy as he also said jewelry could not be exchanged. Either honor your existing policies, Suzy Shier, or change the wording. Simple.
Buyers beware- I am posting this in the hope that this will help someone. This shop does not give you a refund on sale items. I bought items that were on-sale via their website and when I tried to return them in store, they wouldn't accept them. I asked them if I could exchange them for the same items in my size, and they said they were not sure if they had them in my size. I asked them for an exchange for any other item in the store, but they said that couldn't be done either. I can understand no returns for in-store items where you have the option to try them out, but how can you apply the same policy to online purchases when you don't even know if they fit you or not? I have returned on-sale items from Hudson's Bay and Ardene and never faced any issues. This policy is ridiculous. Never shopping at Suzy again.
Buyers BEWARE this is a no refund, and worst consumer experience you can imagine. Don't trust the rare positive reviews they are probably the exceptions or paid for! Stay away if you want to keep your sanity and your money!
Suzy Shier has the WORST policies and customer service I have ever experienced! I spent almost $1000 at your online store. I purchased online because when I go to the store at the mall, I never find my size. I am either a XS or a S. I bought everything full price. But by the time the order arrived yesterday, all the dresses I purchased were on sale! Egads! I returned the ones which didn't fit. I wanted to return and buy back the others that were now on sale. Your employees said I wasn't allowed. They don't do price adjustments. When I explained why I bought online, they joked, "Well, now we will have your size in store! Haha! But the sale ends and you will miss it" Why am I not allowed to buy them? It almost seemed like I was being stigmatized and subjected to unnecessary prejudice. That is really bad, and I am tempting to report your company to the BBB. I was willing to spend money and give you business and you don't want it? Is my money really not good enough? Why am I being punished? Unfortunately, like your products, but I will not recommend your company to others. I bought and returned a few things to Mountain Warehouse and they were fantastic! So efficient and so warm and welcoming! It's too bad they don't have formal attire. I will just find a store that has dresses like Suzy Shier, but is not Suzy Shier or Le Chateau. This the 3rd time Suzy Shier has disappointed me. Good luck keeping costumers.
Jazmine( supervisor) was so helpful and extremely patient and carm. She attended each and every customer with a personal touch. I really want to appreciate her gesture and politeness towards me and other customers in the store
I think for any clothing store to say that they do not accept any returns only exchanges is absolutely ridiculous. You're basically saying that you don't stand by your product you know it's crap, so we don't want it back. When did the company lose all its quality?
I ordered a dress 17 days ago, It was never delivered so I contacted Suzyshier by email lots of times same computer-generated message, Now as of last week they actually blocked my email because I kept asking for my money back. They lost a good customer and I'm sure they will close down soon for scamming people. What has the world come to, shameful for businesses? I am filing a dispute with my credit, They will investigate and I will have my money returned by them, They will go after this crap company and make them pay it to them. So suxyshier go to hell! Don't buy anything from them they will take your money and you will never see what you ordered.Be careful ladies!
I've tried to remove an item from my cart from 4 different devices. I won't buy anything until they fix their website.
Made my on line order on Dec 4, reply was 3-5 business days. On Dec 18 sent a note to customer service asking if the address was ok as I have not recieved or heard anything. Response was " order shipped December 6 2022– Customers who selected Ship to Store will receive a separate notification from the store to confirm that the package is ready for pick up once the store receives it. Shipping takes 5-10 business days once it leaves our warehouse. If you are not contacted by Dec. 21" Sent a note to customer service on Dec 22nd as I still did not recieved my order and the response was basically "don't know where your order is but we can refund your money". So basically 18 days after ordering and now 3 days before Christmas having lots of opportunity to avoid a potential issue. I was left with "sorry no item for you here", we are sending your money back you are your own bye. Thankfully, the young ladies at the STC and square one locations heard me out and found what seemed to be the only store in the city that had my item in the size required. However, it was a 2hr drive round trip which could have been avoided... if the on-line customer service actually provided customer service. But I get now, you just don't want my business, lesson learned thanks.

I have jus had an awful customer service experience at this location… this employee said her name is Adriana, she also said she is the manager (after she had already offered me if I wanted to speak with one)
The whole situation could have been resolved by saying: "when using PayPal method, the physical store has not means to issue a refund SO the return needs to be requested online, the order needs to be mailed and then I will get the refund" THATS IT! THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY SHORT CONVERSATION. I found this out online in one minute, after I left the store.
So now, the story/context:
I walked in the store, no one acknowledged me, this employee was not wearing a name tag, I was waiting by the cashier desk for few minutes when another customer ready to cash out yells at this employee (that she said to be the manager)
She goes straight to cash out this person that came after me, I kept waiting, I didn't say a thing.
She proceeds to grab my package and rudely asks me the returning information they need. No greetings, no smiles, nothing, which is odd at the Canadian retails stores. Fine.
She procedes to tell me that, because I paid with PayPal, there is no refund option for me and so my options where gift cards or store credit…
I explained I needed the money back… so she repeated the same options, I repeated I needed the money and how could we find out a way of doing this, to this she YELLED "I am just gonna give you your stuff back since I have explained your options and you don't want any"
After some more back and forward she THREW me my items like they had NO VALUE, I asked for a bag, she yells (again) I don't have a bag, I said: "I can't take my clothes like that" so she YELLS again to the other employee to bring her a "GARBAGE BAG" from the back (attached pictures of what I took back home)
She kept repeating the words "GARBAGE BAG", as if she had some sort of complex and wanted me to feel embarrassed
She keeps yelling: "bring GARBAGE BAG from the back", "here is the GARBAGE BAG", take it, that's her stuff and you can put it in the "GARBAGE BAG".
She showed like the brand Suzy Sheir has no value, she gave me the impression that she can get away with this treatment, she has no respect for the brand.
She is the the face of this store location and she is the most unhappy, rude, arrogant, person I have ever met. She was not well informed of the services of the store, she straight forward sounds ignorant. I do not align with the values that this brand portraits and
I went into the store and tried on a top, I was on my way to the cashier when a sales associate grabbed my arm from the back and she said "I know you're stealing I found the coat hanger." So I guess I forgot it in the change room. I held up the shirt and said I was going to buy it, I tossed the shirt onto a table and walked out. I've never shoplifted and I definitely wasn't trying to. Obviously I'm never going into one of those stores again. Writing this I'm realizing that the way she grabbed me is considered criminal assault.
It's around 4:30 at londonderry store the lady looks like african American she was very rude while am talking to her. She have to know how to customer service even my son told me why u wants to come and buy if she is rude imagine he is 7 years old plz u should see ur stores

Answer: There is no online customer service. I never had any issue in stores and I just trusted on Suzy to put an online order... A few weeks passed and no news of my order. Hey, I want to wear my summer clothes in summer time.
