Let me start by saying this, ServerMania provides no way to rent a server for a month. The minimum term you're going to end up with is 90 days so go ahead and multiply the hosting cost by 3x because that's what they're going to try to screw out of you. When you set up your server it will take longer than expected and your term begins before it's online and available to you. My server wasn't available until nearly the 5th of the month but my billing period began on the 2nd. Slow setup and ticket times are the norm with this company. But back to the billing problems, before your server is even available to you, you have to cancel your subscription or you will be charged for 3 months. According to their terms you have to pay for the service while you aren't using it before it's set up, while you aren't using it after cancellation, and 3 months of service if you are unable to cancel it because you didn't cancel it before it was even set up. I got a confirmation on their website that I was able to cancel my service and 4 days later got an e-mail telling me I have to pay for 2 more months of a service I can't and wont' use. $#*! these guys, don't give them your business.
Update:
I had faced more than two weeks of downtime and It has been solved once I reached out to the top level of the management.
They are very responsive to my query and provided me a resolution in next 24 hours.
Hope this smooth experience would be there for all, I recommend servermania again.

I had initial 4 days of down time and this is their response " We dont know what went wrong".
This is the most dumb thing I ever heard from a hosting company.
And they fixed the issue and the resolution provided is half baked. Control panel says one thing, what is running is something else.
As of now, I took screenshots of the control panel, marked the options in circles to make them understand, its like teaching a kindergarten instead of talking to a tech support.
DO NOT USE SEVERMANIA, EVEN IF IT IS FREE in 2022.
IT WILL COST YOUR BUSINESS.

So far, support has been stellar, answering all my questions professionally, quickly, and at all times of the day.
Prices are very good, and we are looking at reducing our spend significantly.
The inventory is great with wide-ranging options for CPU, memory, disk, RAID, OS, region,...
At this point, I am extremely satisfied, and would use ServerMania without hesitation.
We test performance/bandwidth daily, and remains inline with what we bought!

Next to zero tech support, our game server is under DDOS attack for 3 days now and all they can say is "we'll get back to you when we have more information"
They also Null Routed our IP when a clients Wordpress site got hacked. Instead of messaging us about it, they just Null Routed the entire IP knocking out every website on the server (100+) - This is unheard of in any hosting company.
They also claim to have 100% uptime which is actually a fraudulent claim to start with. One of our servers went down for 3 hours after only having it for 2 weeks because of them having network issues.
The tech support consists of people who just reply to you with "We will update you shortly" That is it. Nothing more than that. Avoid this company at all costs. Was with them for 2 years and they are just getting worse and worse... They won't be around any longer.

1st time dealing with Server Mania. Purchased an unmanaged Dedicated Server. Support is the best. Getting all responses on time. Faced few problems with the, But I believe I am new with them so it might be my mistakes. Overall, It is good but should be Excellent.

As the Title states, I've had nothing zero issues with ServerMania since I started doing business with them again in Early 2018. No downtime, no issues at all. In fact, it's going so well I'm expecting to go something wrong soon but so far, "I'm givin' 'er all she's got captain!"

As the title states, this is the best dedicated server provider I've had the pleasure of hosting and dealing with. Server setup was within an hour. I've yet to experience ANY downtime but no matter what, you can't predict the future and if you don't keep backups, that's on you. Answer: I went from my game servers have 80-88% uptime and bad lag to 99% uptime and very very rare lag. Most of which is caused by me.
Answer: Less expensive? Yes I am sure. Comparable? Not that I am aware of.

We're sorry to hear that you weren't completely satisfied with our service. We do require 30 days notice for cancellations, but 3 months doesn't seem accurate unless you failed to cancel before the second billing period came around. If this is in fact the case, please contact us to discuss a resolution.
In terms of setup time, we do have longer deployment timeframes for some servers and this is clearly outlined before an order is placed. Our work begins as soon as you place your order, so inevitably, billing does as well.
