Ordered an automatic espresso machine online for my elderly father, which showed in stock, on December 15 2022. The item could be delivered in 2 days which was great. Then it all went downhill from there. Like literally hundreds of other consumers feed back on reputable review site other than Google; my item never shipped. First a two day delay. Then an additional week delay. Then an email from the President of NM that the item would not be shipped before Christmas. Each time I called I was told the item was shipping the next day or so. It is now December 27th and still no shipping notification. Had they been honest with me initially that they were having significant issues in their Dallas warehouse I could have canceled the order and just purchased the item elsewhere or locally. Neiman Marcus has surely fallen far from the top of the retail pack. Lies, lies, and then more lies and then a ridiculous 15% off coupon to use on my next purchase. Lol… there will NEVER be a next purchase from them. I will be lucky they do not cancel my order or to receive this item before next Christmas 2023. We are now on a quest to get this machine delivered and if we are successful I will consider it a huge feather in my cap! If you need a gift for someone special in your life, please consider purchasing that gift from another store that values its customers.

Well it gets even worse when I thought we were at the very bottom. A few days before Christmas, when it became evident to the customer service rep that my item would not be delivered in time for Christmas, he offered me an additional 10% discount to offset the huge inconvenience. As of now, that discount has now been removed and my item has still not been shipped. Believe it or not, there really is no bottom for Neiman Marcus customer service or customer appreciation.
Please consider this when making a purchase from them or you too will experience the very bottom of customer service.

After speaking to the NM customer service rep, I was told the item would be delivered on 12-28-2022. Ummm… again! Not shipped again!

Was contacted on Dec 31 from the Neiman Marcus executive office and it was suggested on that call that I cancel my order. Net/Net from speaking to someone else who purchased this espresso machine without a NM discount coupon; they ordered the very same machine two days after me on December 17th and they received their machine on December 23rd. Neiman Marcus does not want to sell me this machine with a coupon that they sent me! I did attempt to cancel the order on Dec 31 with their customer service BUT they told me they could not cancel the order because the item was being delivered on Jan 2nd 2023. Well just like all the other BS stories I have received them; no shipping notification and no delivery.
Now that all of the Christmas sales are over I will leave this order out there until infinity and take the appropriate action against them as required because their own sales records will show how machines ordered with a coupon were not processed and machines ordered without a coupon were processed.
Go to any other retailer other than Neiman Marcus if you want to save A TON OF TIME AND FRUSTRATION!
None cause nothing was ever delivered nor will it EVER be delivered because this company is completely and utterly broken at all levels!
I BOUGHT ONLINE A PAIR OF CARTIER SUNGLASSES, IN MY CART IT SHOWED A 20% OFF FOR FRIENDS & FAMILY WHICH WOULD BE AN APPROX $200 DISCOUNT BUT THE ORDER CONFIRMATION DIDN'T REFLECT THIS DISCOUNT SO I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE, AFTER A 40 MINUTE HOLD A REP TLD ME THAT CARTIER DOESN'T ALLOW SUCH DISCOUNTS. SO I CHECKED, THERE WAS NO MENTION OF THIS EXCEPTION. I WANTED TO CANCEL THE ORDER BUT WASN'T ALLOWED. I NEVER OPEENED THE PACKGE WHEN IT ARRIVED AND WENT ON THEIR WEBSITE TO INITIATE A RETURN, I WAS SENT A LABEL WHICH DIDN'T HAVE A DEADLINE DATE. TODAY AGAIN I AM TRYING TO TAKE CRE OF THIS. WAS DISCONNENCTED AFTER A 20 MINUTE HOLD, I CALLED AGAIN AND AM TOLD THAT THERE WILL BE A $9.6 CHARGE BECAUSE RETURN IS PAST THE 14 DAYS! NOHERE ON THEIR SITE THIS IS STATED - IT JUST SAYS FREE SHIPPING & RETURNS. DEPLRABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I JUST GT DISCONNECT AFTER A 27 MINUTE HOLD FOR A SUPERVISR. THE WASTE OF TIME AND AGGROVATION IS OUTRAGEOUS!

I would rate Neiman Marcus's customer support as the worst experience I have ever witnessed and experienced with any company to-date. Here is what happened:
My daughter was ordering a x-mas gift, it was a purse, she first attempted to order it online but the company's website would not accept any gift cards, and she got an error message asking her to call online support. She then called online support, and oh my god, they were truly the worst ever... first, she could not just place an order under her own profile because the credit card was under her husband's name, so she had to spend time with the agent to create her husband's profile because she could use his credit card. Next, she could not send the gift to the receiver because the agent insisted that the delivery address had to be the same as the credit card address... Does Neiman Marcus not get with the program during the holidays... people send gifts to different addresses all the time... why would they not allow a gift to be sent to an address different from the card card? After all this drama, and an hour later, my daughter finally tried to give the agent the gift card information, the agent gets all of the information and then disconnects the call. My daughter waited 30 mins to get a call back from the agent to complete the order, but no such luck.
Next, my daughter calls Neiman Marcus back and the agent helping her told her nothing was saved under her profile and she had to start all over again... after a total of 1.5 hours on the phone with 2 different agents, you can image the frustration by this time. The order continues with the 2nd agent, and when it came time to submit the gift cards, there were more issues in completing the sale. The agent would not allow for the sale to be sent to a different address. By this time, I asked my daughter to request for a manager for assistance.
The manager spends another 45 mins on the phone with my daughter, and finally attempted to place the order for her, but when it came time to re-read the gift card information, since several agents had used it to place the order, one of them shows zero balance when the first agent had confirmed the card had money on it... so needless to say, my daughter started crying because by now, with two kids (baby and a toddler) in the background crying, and over two hours later, the frustration was over the limits where most people would have lost it.
At this point, I took over the call to complete the order...
The manager makes not concessions even though this was not necessary but any good company would have made it right... instead, she offered to credit my daughter $50 for the one gift card that did not work, but on their online orders, they were already offering $50 for over 200 purchase, which this one qualifies at over $2,300 purchase price... therefore, she made it look like she was making a concession when she really wasn't.
What a horrible, nightmare experience in placing a x-mas gift order. Needless to say, we will never order from Neiman Marcus ever again.

Do not make online orders with this company. I bought Mcqueen sneakers amd never received them. My front door Ring camera captured that the Fedex man left the package in front of my front door and left when he should have delivered it with my signature. Then the fedex man falsly put signed by me when no one was home at the time of delivery. I sent 4 separate videos to Neiman Marcus team and kindly asked them to evaluate the situation and either refund me or replace the item. They did not even give a $#*! to the videos. The videos captured how the fedex man knocked the door, then put the box in front of my door, and leave. Then another motion was caltured by my Ring how within 10 minutes a stranger appraoched to my package amd apparamtly stole it. After 30 min. The Ring captured me comi g back home with my white car. I could not have provided them more reliable evidence than these videos that proves that I did not signed and accepted the package. However, the department store indifferently amd unreasonably decided that kept repeat like a robot that I signed the package amd that is it. They were acting not like a human being with a brain. It somethimes seems to me that they have a plastic brain unable to comprehensivly evaluate the basic things. My advice, do not give your time and money to these thefts, to this "high-end" but fake and unprofessional department stores by making online orders. It's not guaranteed that you will ever receive your order or get a refund in case it's lost. They will put all the hard work on you by advising to file a police report amd open a claim with fedex. Whereas, that is department store's responsiblity to take thses mentioned steps as they choose what carrier to contract. They have to make sure that the item will be delivered safe. They bear the risk of loss of the item until it is not delivered.
In short, this is the worst experience I have ever had. I spent money, had been waiting to enjoy my order and ended up with being extorted by this "glamurous" but with poor policy department store.
Do not make online orders from this site. It is not safe at all. In case your atoem got lost or stolen, they won’t refund you or replace the item even if you sent them videos captured by your security cameras as proof.

Dear Neiman Marcus Customer Service:
I thought you should be aware of the irritating customer service I received from Neiman Marcus after ordering a pair of shoes that eventually never materialized.
I ordered the pair of shoes back in October (10/18/2017: WN*******899) with hopes of having them for Christmas. When I ordered them, it indicated they were the last pair in my size (I was thrilled). But then after waiting for 2 weeks and not hearing anything, I reached out to customer service to find out they were delayed and my shipping date was sometime in November.
Then it starts to get really annoying.
So for the next three months, I received almost daily emails notifying me that my order status had changed and I would need to email customer service within 24 hours or my order would be cancelled!
So almost daily, I responded to the increasingly annoying messages indicating I would wait for my order.
Then around January 8th, I receive another email simply stating the order couldnt be fulfilled and it would be cancelled.
When I inquired to customer service, I received your canned responses just with different first and last name initials at the end of them then after getting so frustrated, I told them I was going to cancel my credit card, I received a nice note back stating:

Heres the thing I went onto Amazon, ordered the exact shoe but in Navy Blue, ½ price and had it the next day!
If I were on your customer service team, I would have reached out mid-process and asked if there were any other colors that might interest me say for example Navy Blue (which I purchased from Amazon) or Black Leather (which I purchased directly from Vince.com) but no, they just kept sending annoying status emails and canned responses to my questions.
I will admit, there were times when I wasnt so pleasant, you could hear the frustration in my emails but then again, customer service was anything but helpful.
