Really scam! Don't buy car accessories from this scam seller(auprogear-hid-xenon) on ebay, the lowest quality that shipped from hongkong, item stopped working but still under warranty, contacted seller but never respond and ebay doesn't help
Many fakes, after payment seller doesnot ship anything. The dont reply, and after all he made a refund afer 3 weeks! Be careful!
Urban circle Furb supplied me with a modern two tier coffee table. Although delivery was slow it was worth the wait. The flat pack was super easy to put together with great instructions. The table looks great and I am stoked with the finished table and the price.
Great buy.
Fraud sellers on eBay and eBay not help buyer
Be careful and PayPal the same no protect buyer try Afterpay
The filter means little to nothing, touch AU only, the item takes weeks to arrive from OS. Same Seller's with multiple names, seller with 600 or more negative and over 1000 neutral feedback. Customer's being ripped off hand over fist. EBay pays and gives us a refund, but that's not the point. I spend thousands a year with eBay.most of my time is checking feedback. It's not right and needs fixing.
Ebay are a law unto themselves. I buy a lot of DVDs from them yet Ebay allow their sellers to falsely a DVD on Ebay and on two occasions now I've been sold DVDs on Ebay which don't match the product description. They have also taken advantage of the reported 60% increase in online shopping by overcharging on items. I recently was going to buy a DVD on EBAY and the seller couldn't ship to Sydney Australia. This DVD was $83 and I've since found the same DVD on another website for $8 US currency. That's around $11 in Australia currency.
Private seller selling an one off item is a rip off. Selling an item less than $300 and charged me $40 selling fees
13.4% is really a rip off
There is no customer service but you get what you paid for. I bought a pair of thongs and it arrived quickly. No problem.
EBay sells fake items and when they were told that this is an obvious counterfeit on their site given the reasons why (for example) even showing them pictures of what a real Balenciaga clasp looks like and a fake one they assure you they will look into it a week later the item will be sold on auction... As a seller they are a nightmare you are given different opinions and advice by every different customer service agent they have I was recently told that a below average seller judgement given to me would not incur any penalties as I was now above average seller... Yeah I just sold a bag and I was charged 20% off by eBay instead of 14% when I spoke to the incompetent customer service agents finally number four told me that there was nothing they could do and I had to wait three weeks before my now above average seller performance was registered... I had spoken to 3 different people over the last two weeks about this actually incorrect judgement and was assured every time 'do not worry there will be no penalties' when I told this to the agent today he said well if you were told that I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do... I have discontinued all my listings with this criminal organisation and it's laughable Customer Service
I ordered an item from eBay Australia. The item was technically faulty. I complained to eBay, they send me a return sticker to send the item back to the seller. The item was in transit for more than 30 days as to the Corona Virus delays.
The fraudulent seller complaint to eBay and got the money on halt for the faulty product. Now, I do not have the item as it is lost in transit and lost $199 for the item that eBay refunded to the phony seller.
The eBay customer service could not understand the situation.
I will never purchase anything from eBay again. For years, I purchase items from Amazon and have had no difficulties if something goes wrong. Never again, eBay! I learned my lesson. The customer service of eBay is miserable.
UPDATE: The customer has left posotive feedback on my page, details fast service, great packaging and item exactly as described. These CROOKS at Ebay are still holding my money for 30 days. DO NOT SELL WITH EBAY.
Ebay Australia is the most unethical bunch of crooks on the internet. I will never sell with Ebay again, they withhold your money for up to 30 days and keep in ransom in case the buyer "Isnt Happy" after a few weeks. What an absolute joke. Ebay owes me over 3k worth of sales, I am given release dates for the funds which are a month away. The buyer is absolutely content, we have been in communication, registration of devices transferred to new buyer, buyer is using them, order had tracking, buyer sent me email thanking me for the package and the extra gift I included. The buyer has been absolutely great, top bloke. Ebay on the other hand are absolutely unethical and just play god with peoples hard earned money. Im sure they just hold money to make interest on other peoples profits. Ebay is pretty much just a drop shipping scam now, all good sellers have been pushed out. You buy products advertised as local, which come one month later from Chinese suppliers. Real sellers like me get no respect. CROOKS
Got ripped off by seller and eBay only giving partial refund for faulty goods. EBay did nothing to fix the situation and simply agreed with seller. This even after a customer service person agreed to full refund. Taking case to Fair Trade NSW.
Contacted few times for the same issue, I really sick of online chat with the Ebay agents, these Indian team cust service really no helping to solve the issue. Each time spent 20% of time to text me meaningless' talk, but no go to find the answer and asking are you connecting?, sometimes I awaiting their answer, but agent just ended the chat session. I found they lack of knowledge of what ebay's terms and promotions. After I given the link then just copy what the rule said, of course I read it before I contacted, then if you want the agent to explain and confirm the term that you don't understand, the agent could not explain to you. So which their own staff does not understand their own ebay's rules. NO knowledge, NO training...
Do not use eBay. Their customer service team is of a very low standard and do not offer any help after multiple requests to do so. I have struggled for months to get the simplest of problems solved and they do not seem to have any sense of care for the business that keep their website running. I am frustrated beyond belief and disappointed with how I've been treated. I will not be working with eBay in the future and I would advise you do the same.
Kind regards, Joyforwomen.
This is an eBay store. Shame I can give cero starts. I bought a Nike Air Jordan 3 Cement from this seller on eBay. The seller advertise and charge his shoes as original Jordan. The seller asked me to do the transaction out of eBay to avoid the percentage that the seller has to pay to eBay. I didn't accept and paid the shoes. The shoes are fake, I approached to the seller and wasn't willing to do any agreement. The seller said they are original and didn't provide a convincing prove. The sneaker, clearly doesn't meet Jordan's quality. I had to ask eBay to step in. Take care, don't waste your time.
In recently year, the ebay cust service is very very bad :(, ebay doesn't know what is call the cust service. I don't know the staffs have been trained before start work. They are not willing to help, I have given so much information, but they did not read and keep asking the issue I have, this is showing lazy, and then end up they told me to deal with seller myself! Of course I have contacted seller before but they no response, so I get ebay involves, but ebay wanted to click out the ball- problem! Ebay only knows to receive the 11% of fee, but no willing to help!
EBay is amazingly hard to contact. All their numbers are disconnected and emails are non existent and non replyable. It's a labyrinth of a circle. They are the worst. My credit card details was stolen and was used the next day by PayPal to which I don't even have an account for. Please report them to Fair Trading and NCAT. All up they stolen $500 dollars.
Don't buy from EBay a toilet seat that was $35 US ended up costing me $125 plus and extra $5 currency exchange fee from my bank. EBay is not transparent about the cost of purchasing its items
EBay has gone from good, to bad, to awful.
To start with it was good for both seller and buyer, then it started getting worse for sellers with the final value fees added in (listing fees were eventually removed however final fees are much higher)
Then the selling final value keeps going up to what it is now near 11%. Then PayPal takes it's cut, another 3%
So you have to inflate your prices just to cover this, which in the real world, no buyer is prepared to pay so selling on eBay isn't worth your time (unless you are selling stolen goods or have the market cornered)
Now it is even bad for buyers with eBay plus coming in, no more discounts unless you pay for them (wtf)
On top of this they have removed free / no final fee weekends and promotions for many months now for selling.
I really cannot wait for Amazon to become a better presence in Australia as eBay has had Australia for far too long and Amazons customer service is 1000 times better.
If you are thinking of selling on eBay. The answer is simple... DONT! Had an issue with a buyer, eBay were on the buyers side. The buyer claimed that the item was "damaged" when it arrived, but it was obviously tampered with, they then turned around and changed there mind and wanted to return the item ($208.95), which eBay then took the funds off me without even hearing my side of the story, they gave me a deadline to have the matter sorted and if it wasn't sorted (even if that meant that the buyer wasn't replying to me) they would allow the buyer to keep the item and give her the full refund amount of ($208.95), also, then charge me a further $25 for having to intervene! I am yet to solve this matter, eBay are not bothering to assist me with this and I have just found out the buyer is a scammer who goes by several different names (yet eBay still do not care)
DO NOT GET SUCKED INTO THIS SCAM.
Not to mention, they charge you 10.9% of each and every single item you sell (which was not clear from the get go) they advertise as "list 40 ads for free"... forgetting to add the part in where once it sells they will charge you 10.9% + charge you for the postage fees also...
I know I am not the only person who has had a problem, let's hope eBay can be shut down once and for all!
Answer: I have used Gumtree successfully, but you do encounter a lot of phishing and have to be aware.
