Don't trust the promotional fare prices! From an unwelcome checkout page refresh that resulted in a price increase, to the "booking confirmation" email that wasn't actually a confirmation but a "Hey here's what looks exactly like a confirmation with your flight details and everything but read the 6pt font fine print that says we charged you for a pending flight that you'll have to just rebook when prices are higher" scam, my experience with "crookingace" was pretty horrid, not to mention the broken English in the email response 4 hours after my "confirmation" from a Garret Peterson(?) I almost sent to spam not realizing it was bookingace telling me, "Gotcha!" The rep did what he could to remedy the situation (I guess), but there was little he could do with a company using shady upsell tactics and a painful customer support process (Was it the classic "outsourced call center somewhere in the Middle East with rage-inducing hold music and endless waiting" experience? You bet it was!). I won't be trusting the company with my hard-earned money - that I wanted to use to see family I rarely get to visit - any time in the near future. I get that these are promotional flights and availability is constantly changing and yada yada yada; that's not what upset me. It's the blatant unprofessionalism and untrustworthiness of the company hiding the fine print details and pretending they're so dedicated to helping their customers that irks me to my core. Don't fall for these guys - just go through the trusted airlines, find a decent price, and know that you would have ended up paying more by going with these "low-price fares" after they swindled you and wasted your time. Yuck.
