A good friend used iDateAsia.com in the past. He met his wife when they got info to the other and went to Vietnam on his own, married her and brought her to the U.S. She has told me that it is the job of all the women on this site to string the guys along as long as they can so they can get as much money for the site as they can, from as many guys as they can, and they get a commission for this. Is this true? I ask because I am writing to one lady and don't want to get burned by a scam. Thank you.

If you were to read the fine print they even admit as much! Think carefully about what they are saying here, I copied and pasted this directly:

4 Fees chargeable to Lady Members

Our member Sites never charge lady members fees by whatsoever description, directly or indirectly. Please bear in mind, however, there may exist service agreement between lady member & service provider by which, for example, contingency fee payable to service provider. Our member Site(s) is never a party to those agreements, if any, nor in a position to disallow, discourage or investigate into the same.

They get $1.50 for each message they receive. If they can get you to chat then there is more money depending on the length of call. There are other websites you can use that are good but this website I would avoid at all costs. Please be ruled by your head and not your heart.
